I think this book contains an amazing, wonderful, great story of two orphans, who run away to Venice. The topic of Funkes novel is timeless. the caracters are well designed and children can memorize them very good and let them stroll in their imagination through the numerous alleys and over all the
bridges.
I would recommend this novel to everybody who still remembers his childhood very well and want to be a child again.
