RJ Rushmore (a.k.a. Michael Rushmore) was born in Chicago where he lived most of his life and has been exploring contemporary art as a writer, curator, photographer, arts administrator, critic and fan since 2008. He became a fan of street art alongside his father when they began collecting art and searching out street art together. Since then, RJ has become deeply passionate about promoting disruptive art on the street, on gallery walls, and online. He currently lives in Philadelphia where he is attending Haverford College, and being student co-manager at Cantor Fitzgerald Gallery at Haverford College and co-curator at the L.I.S.A. Project. Since 2008, RJ Rushmore has been exploring contemporary art as a writer, curator, photographer, arts administrator, critic, and fan when he founded the street art blog Vandalog. His work focuses on street art, graffiti, public art, and net art. By day, he is the Digital Marketing Manager at Creative Time and by night he focuses on Vandalog, which he is Editor-in-Chief of. He has also written two books on street art and graffiti.
