Maryanne Alhallak was born 2006 in Damascus, Syria. She used to live a beautiful life with her parents, brother, and sister. But a war started, and she fled her county with her family, but her father had to stay. It was very difficult to adjust, especially without her father, but she pushed herself. Maryanne could barely speak English when she came, but with all the help and hard work, soon, she learned how to speak, love, and write with it. She hopes to write as long as she lives, and she hopes you enjoy her story.
