Amlaan Akshayanshu Sahoo, 2004, is a student pursuing undergraduate medicine at Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital, Balangir, Odisha, having completed his higher secondary education from Mother's Public School, Bhubaneswar in 2022.He ventured into the world of literature in 2020 with his debut poetry book "The Tiny Astronaut" which was well-received by critics and readers alike. His work has been aptly acclaimed on various international online poetry platforms as well as in established contemporary literary journals. An avid reader and an emerging writer, Amlaan appreciates the world along with its flaws and facades with an unflinching belief in the however latent goodness of mankind. His tryst with words in his second poetry collection "In Between Blooms" is hence at heart an attempt to capture life for what it is - a convoluted mess but also a wondrous gift, if only one is willing to unwrap the present and look inside.
