This study is aimed at analysing the various tools that anglophone Cameroon playwrights employ to write plays and the processes. Our findings have proven that one of the tools used is choosing the topic (inspiration). They palywrights have different methods of choosing the topic and one of the methods is to observe the society, they observe the society and collect raw materials. With futher findings, we realized that important events of the society, history, dreams, imaginations, images from newspapers and magazines all serve as inspiration for playwrights. When playwrights are vested with materials to write, they engaged in the processes of writing which is now putting down the tools (ideas) into writing by plotting, structuring and using styles and techniques to make the play unique and captivating.

She holds a Masters degree in Performing Arts and Cinematography and currently into PhD program in Performing Arts and Cinematography, specialized in PLAYWRITING. Works as an artist, storyteller at eBASE Africa and part-time lecturer at the university of Yaounde 1, Cameroon. Also, a museum professional.
