J.R. LaMar is a 28-year-old author/illustrator who believes in the power of books and the joy they bring to others. His passion for creating stems from his early childhood and the joy he gained by reading the works of Prelutsky, Silverstein, and Seuss. It is his opinion there is no greater gift to give than that of joy. J.R. lives on the beautiful Oregon Coast where he fills the role as the leader of children's ministries at his local church.
