Being an entrepreneur myself, the traditional training systems always fascinated me. In a country with a very high unemployment rate, a high AIDS rate and extended traditional families, the "how" to educate our adult entrepreneurs who are forced, due to culture, to look after the extended family, in most cases without formal education and thus with a very small income, motivated me to do this study. The circumstances found in this book is not unique to Namibia, but can be applied to all Africa Countries. In my opinion, the biggest factors who differentiated the more successful adult entrepreneurs from the less successful ones were their attitudes and the will to focus on oneself understanding that the extended family are dependent on the adult entrepreneur. Personal commitment to growth, the will to learn bit by bit while overcoming traditional barriers also contributed to success. It is my heartfelt hope that my findings and recommendations can make a difference all over the world by His grace.
