Two homeless men, Gugle and Twita, wander aimlessly in the desert to ponder the meaning of life. Little did they know they were walking into The Trial of Lucifer. In Seven days and Six nights they become legendary witnesses to comings and goings. Then in a pulsating climax, they are compelled to join in a mad scramble for the exit, before a promised flood. The Play is set in the desert and the scenes take place in alternating daylight and a moonlit night. Deep philosophical questions about the world are debated, touching on subjects from religion to politics. The dialogue is witty and hilarious. They then hatch a plan to rescue themselves from their sorry state - as salesmen of stories. However, everything changes when Mama Sharifa, a large woman wearing many trinkets shows up and announces The Trial of Lucifer, scheduled to take place right in that desert. The court personnel were on their way. In a riveting trial, Gugle and Twita are sworn in as the only jurors. Lucifer puts up a vigorous defense, protesting that he has always been the scapegoat of all the world's evil deeds, and even been given the horns of a goat. Will Lucifer be found guilty or not guilty?
