It is appreciable in the traditional dance expressions, elements of the Hispanic tradition and others corresponding to the diverse African ethnic groups that began to arrive in Cuba since the XVI century.The authors of this research have always been interested in dances of traditional and identity character, because there is a much wider universe that requires a lot of research, which has allowed them to carry out this study of deepening the historical, methodological and technical knowledge about the Trinitarian makuta, which allows to watch over the preservation of this folkloric dance.
