Autorenporträt
Scot Ranslem has always loved writing poems. One day, when his sister, Pam, was feeling a bit down, he sent her a couple verses of poetry and asked her to add a few lines. That back-and-forth poem started a poetic collaboration that led to their first book, The Trouble with Bubbles. With this new book, Scot has teamed up with Pam Ranslem and Geraldine Rios once again; together they've turned delightful poems into an adventurous tale. Scot lives in Saugus, California, with his wife, Lydia. Over the years, the couple and their daughter, Mik, have owned many pets including dogs, cats, horses, cows, a goat, a parrot, a chinchilla, and a fish-no doubt inspiration for the animals who live in these poems. After 35 years of "walking the skies," with Delta Airlines, Pamela Ranslem retired and now lives in California, with her lovable canine friend Tino (short for Valentino) and her talkative African Grey parrot Max. She is closer to family and enjoys working with her brother on their books. Geraldine lives in Redlands, California with her canine pal Arthur. Geraldine has been part of the team from the very beginning and has been an integral part of helping to ensure we are on the right path and to always consider alternatives. She has a special kind of tenacity and enthusiasm, and the books are better because she is part of the team. Her feedback and encouragement were essential to both The Trouble with Bubbles, and even having a second book. If it was not for her, The Reason There's Bubbles would not exist. A very special thank you to Geraldine!
