At the time of initial publication of the thesis this is based around there were no dedicated truck simulators in New Zealand and this research looked at the possibility of one being imported and how it might affect the training paradigm in New Zealand. The simulator in question has now arrived and has opened up the opportunity for further evaluation as to it's effectiveness.
Autorenporträt
The author studied at Lincoln University in Christchurch New Zealand and is currently the National Driver Trainer for a large waste disposal company. He is an experienced truck trainer, has run his own driving school and worked for the largest commercial transport training provider in New Zealand.
