Irene Lynch is the former principal of Epiphany Cathedral School in Venice, Florida. She is a strong and passionate woman who has an undeniable love for God, her husband John, and her family. Her laugh is contagious, and her faith inspires many. Formerly from Massachusetts, she has been a Sarasota County, Florida resident since 1988. She graduated from Bourne High School in 1970 and Bridgewater State College (BSC) in 1974, with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. She received her master's degree from the University of Southern Florida (USF) in Special Education and her EDS in Education Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. She taught kindergarten and first grade at Philippi Shores Elementary School was a resource teacher and ESE Liaison at Fruitville Elementary, and was an assistant principal at Venice Middle and Sarasota Middle School before becoming Principal at Epiphany Cathedral School. She is a passionate member of St. Patrick's Church and an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, Divine Mercy Cenacle, Adoration team, Faith Formation team, and is a Eucharistic Minister. She also served as a member of the Legion of Mary at Incarnation Church. Her community service included volunteering as a community director of the YMCA and delivering Meals on Wheels. Faith and family are the values that she lives by and the theme of her books.
