Autorenporträt
Jayne Sbarboro is an award-winning teacher who spent over thirty years working with children. As a principal in Denver Public Schools she developed this Truest Heart process to help children who had been bullied. She was the recipient of a Denver Teacher's Award, and was selected as an American Council of Learned Societies' Teacher Fellow to lead a team developing inclusive multicultural curriculum. She was first published by the Modern Language Association for her essay, "Advocacy in the Elementary School Classroom." Her essay, "I Believe in Trying" is part of the National Public Radio archive This I Believe. She lives and works in Denver, Colorado.
