Sophie Beer is an award-winning author and illustrator based in Brisbane, Australia. She works primarily in children's books, having published with Penguin Random House, Simon and Schuster, Walker, Scholastic, Hardie Grant and many more. As an illustrator, she has worked with Disney/Pixar, Google and the Sydney Opera House. When she's not illustrating and writing, she thinks a lot about plants, animals, music, books and social justice. There are nearly 700,000 Sophie Beer books in print across Australia, New Zealand, and North America.
