Zuozhen Liu is Associate Professor of Law at the Research Center of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, Guangdong Academy of Social Sciences (GDASS). Dr. Liu's research interests focus on cultural heritage law, international trade law, and Chinese constitutional law. She holds a PhD in Art and Law from the University of Amsterdam and is also a part-time practicing lawyer. She has been appointed as a legal consultation expert for Guangzhou's municipal government in its rule-of-law initiative, with her research reports repeatedly earning commendations from various government departments.
