Robert Grayson is an award-winning former daily newspaper reporter and the author of books for children and young adults. Among his awards was a first-place prize for news writing, presented by the North Jersey Pica Club. Throughout his journalism career, Grayson has written stories on law enforcement, sports figures, arts & entertainment, business, politics, and pets, which have appeared in national and regional publications, including the New York Yankees magazine and NBA Hoop. He has written books about animals in the military and animal performers as well as law enforcement, the environment, and professional sports. Grayson lives in the Northeast.
