Sharon D. Ulett was born in Kingston, Jamaica, but migrated to the United States in 1993. She is a highly qualified teacher with a master's degree in special education from Arcadia University as well as a certified autism specialist. Ms. Ulett has a deep love for children and a passion for education. The Ugly Duckling: A Story of Acceptance is her third book. She is also the author of "The Three Little Urban Pigs" and "Asheem: The Boy Who Could Not Read."
