This report, based on a survey of UK Chemical Manufacturing Industry leaders in 2007, looks at the viewpoint of the industry on the UK staying out of the Euro collaboration. The survey finds that this business sector, deeply involved in European import/export activities, is well informed on the implications of a monetary union. Also, the report links the views of these business leaders with the pros and cons identified for joining or staying outside of the EMU. Authors Bonat and Lindh wrote the dissertation while studying in the UK and have since moved on to roles in market analysis and banking.
