Claudia Martin has written extensively for children and young adults. She specializes in books on geography, history, technology, current affairs and the natural world. She lives in London. Jules Howard, the consultant, is a highly respected zoologist and conservationist. He writes for BBC Wildlife Magazine and The Guardian, and appears regularly on radio and TV, including BBC Radio 4's The Living World . He has also chaired live science events at festivals, including Edinburgh International Science Festival and Cheltenham Science Festival. He lives in Northamptonshire, UK.
