WAYNE HEARD, a former U.S. Army Green Beret, was called out of retirement to help write the Army's Personnel Recovery how-to manual and guide the development of the Army's PR program. He also taught DEA Special Agents working in high-risk assignments. A master parachutist and Ranger, Wayne's articles have been published in several professional periodicals.
