Little Eagle was immersed in the Algonquin ways of life, learning the art of tracking, hunting, and fishing, emphasizing balance and respect for the land. These early experiences honed his skills and instilled a profound understanding of the need for sustainable practices that honour Mother Earth!Rising to Chief, a position held with great reverence within his people, Gatz has been a pivotal figure in advocating for the rights and traditions of First Nations peoples, both locally and on national platforms! His leadership has been characterized by a commitment to preserving the Algonquin culture, language, and traditions while embracing change and innovation to address contemporary challenges!Under Chief Gatz's guidance, the "Hunting for Greatness" initiative was founded.
