Franco Rol, nato nel 1972, è il principale biografo di Gustavo Adolfo Rol. Suo testimone e lontano cugino, lo ha conosciuto sin da bambino e gli ha dedicato libri e articoli con l'obbiettivo di chiarirne la vita, il pensiero e le possibilità cosiddette "paranormali", con approccio investigativo e scientifico. L'opera enciclopedica "L'Uomo dell'Impossibile" all'inizio del 2024 ha raggiunto i 10 volumi (circa 4.500 pagine di analisi, spiegazioni e innumerevoli documenti e testimonianze inedite). Ha anche pubblicato "Il simbolismo di Rol" (2008), "Fellini & Rol. Una realtà magica" (2022) e "Resuscitazioni. Da Lazzaro a Rol" (2023). Altri volumi sono in preparazione.
