Without such material, the aliens will die, unless they keep on transforming into different versions of human beings. Sarah has to escape and somehow stop these sinister extraterrestrials. But she know that both of her parents, who are doctors working in that same hospital, may have already been transformed. The story ends(?) with Ken and his comrades leaving to be transported to their own planet -- and Sarah rejects a chance to go with them. But now that they are gone, what kind of baby will she soon have?"--
