The University of Pennsylvania Band is amongst the largest bands in the Ivy League, and it is one of the most active programs in the country, year in and year out, entertaining audiences with its unique combination of humor and music. Throughout its entire history, the organization has always been a primarily student-led group and has never been affiliated with any academic department. Its membership is composed of true amateurs, performing not for scholarships or academic credits but for their love of music and their alma mater.
