She is the author of the recent picture book from Putnam Cat's Very Good Day . She is a former volunteer gardener and tour guide on Alcatraz Island. Anika Orrock is a writer, illustrator, designer, and baseball lover. She works as a storyboard artist and character designer in the animation industry.
