After a career in civil aviation, it was not until he was eighty-five that Jeremy Raylton took to writing, as increasing age made his hobbies of gardening and walking less enjoyable. He has written two historical novels, two crime-related short stories and two books for children. He has travelled widely, both on business and for pleasure, and is now content to sit at home with a glass of rose¿, and contemplate what might be the subject of another book.
