Paul M. Valliant has worked in the field of clinical and forensic psychology since 1980. He was initially hired to work in a psychiatric hospital with patients who had forensic and criminal issues. This provided him insight and allowed him to venture into the minds of those with psychological conditions. Over the past 40 years he has used this knowledge to write journal articles, non-fiction, and fiction books.
