In initiating this research, our goal was to examine the games, songs, and rhymes used in preschools in order to identify their contribution to the learning of French by children aged 2 to 5. The data collected during our fieldwork confirmed the undeniable contribution of games, songs and rhymes in the learning of French by preschool children. In fact, the preschool occupies a special place in the overall early childhood care system. It is a complementary school to family education and prepares children for elementary school. It is the place for essential experiences and learning that allow children to "grow up". Indeed, the child acquires a language, French, which allows him/her not only to communicate with those around him/her but also to have access to the culture of which the national language is the vector, a language which allows him/her to learn and understand the world in which he/she lives.
