Some quality tools are used and adapted to support the planning and development of new products. The aim of this work is to use the QFD (Quality Function Deployment) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) methods in order to meet the quality demands of the customer, derived from the QFD, and the reliability of the product, derived from the FMEA. The work aims to show the importance of distributing quality assurance during the development of this new product, and how it is decisive in adding value to the final product, taking into account the consumer's perception and improving their satisfaction through early problem-solving. The results obtained show that the proposed methods are useful for developing the concept of the final product, based on the data obtained in the surveys, and that they are prioritized and implemented.
