The main discussion of this article is how Latin America, because of its special economic, political, and cultural status, such as its Arab and Muslim populations, diverse underground resources, and its political, economic, and cultural alignment with left-wing governments in the region can play a role to help Iran in achieving its goals such as developing political, economic and cultural influence and expanding the export of technical and engineering goods and services by increasing the use of soft power. In this regard, the main question of this article is that how soft power as a practical tool of the Islamic Republic of Iran can increase Iran's influence in Latin America and what achievements it will bring. The Islamic Republic of Iran, by pursuing the policy of diversification to its partners and allies in the foreign policy, seeks to attract other partners to increase political, economic, and cultural cooperation by strengthening public diplomacy using soft power to pave the way for new diplomatic relations, especially in Latin America.
