Nancy Bailey, a full-time writer, resides in Northern California with her husband, Richard. She lived in Alaska 14 years where she experienced minus 70-degree weather, whiteouts, and a near-death experience on a frigid lake. She has vivid memories of trekking through bear-infested woods.
