JORGE LUCIO DE CAMPOS hat einen Abschluss und einen Master in Philosophie (Ästhetik) sowie einen Doktortitel und eine Habilitation in Kommunikation und Kultur (Geschichte der Denksysteme) an der UFRJ. Außerdem ist er außerordentlicher Professor an der UERJ und im Postgraduiertenprogramm (Master und Doktorat) für Design an der ESDI.
