M. Wilson Athey has been a journalist for more than 60 years. She's written hundreds of thousands of words for everything from newspapers to video scripts; magazines to online news. She served for years as a reporter, university instructor, and managing editor. Never did she think about publishing fiction until two years ago when she woke up with the outline for The Vesuvius Bribe firmly fixed in her mind. So, at the age of 79, she presents her first novel and is busy working on a second one.
