Autorenporträt
Callum Dalziel is a new author in the genre often referred to as "Tartan Noir". He has lived in Inverclyde all his life, and felt that the area deserved to be featured in a Scottish crime novel. The themes in the SCOTT'S LAW series are hard-hitting and certainly not for readers under-18. Author's Note: Under "poetic license" I have taken some liberties with the geography and some urban features of Inverclyde. Some places are altered, re-named, or invented to suit the narrative. "My" Police Scotland is not intended to represent the procedures or personnel of the actual entity; nor are the characters herein in anyway representative of the good people of Inverclyde. ************ ERRATUM ************ On page 51, para. 3, page line 16, the phrase should read '... he missed the orderly regime ...' instead of 'regimen.'
