In a series of dramatic twists and turns, oil production in several key OPEC countries is shut down; energy-starved China is drawn into the international turmoil; and the Russians are forced to repel an attack against their own oil reserves in the Far East. When the Russians finally attempt a clandestine strike against the US's petroleum reserves the Americans must take desperate retaliatory measures in a last-ditch effort to halt the Russians' bid for world economic domination. Throughout the ensuing turmoil three of the world's biggest nuclear powers are brought into a terrifying confrontation. He currently consults, teaches and acts as an arbitrator/expert witness on international oil matters. He resides, seasonally, in Santa Fe, NM and Casco, ME.
