This book focuses on an ecological toxicological and behavioural study of the vinegar fly (Drosophila melanogaster) in relation to aqueous solutions of Citrillus colocynthis, Peganum harmala and Lufeneron (IGRH). The results obtained from the toxicological study showed the increase in the mortality rates of the adults of the fly compared to the control depending on the increase of two factors (time and dose), the results obtained showed that C.colocynthis is more toxic than P.harmala from the toxicological parameters calculated LD50 and LD90 which were respectively 3.93g/l and 5.54g/l; 4.56g/l…mehr

Produktbeschreibung
This book focuses on an ecological toxicological and behavioural study of the vinegar fly (Drosophila melanogaster) in relation to aqueous solutions of Citrillus colocynthis, Peganum harmala and Lufeneron (IGRH). The results obtained from the toxicological study showed the increase in the mortality rates of the adults of the fly compared to the control depending on the increase of two factors (time and dose), the results obtained showed that C.colocynthis is more toxic than P.harmala from the toxicological parameters calculated LD50 and LD90 which were respectively 3.93g/l and 5.54g/l; 4.56g/l and 6.06g/l. For the larval stages, we found that Lufeneron is more efficient with a 45% mortality rate, followed by P.harmala with a rate of 21%, and finally, C.colocynthis with a rate of 10%. Concerning the pupal stage, the rates obtained are 73%, 50%, 42% respectivent with the three products used.
