Set in the summer of 2015, this coming-of-age story focuses on Miles, a young man who just turned legal drinking age. He is ready for another summer working at a winery with his best friends. With the prospect of going back to post-secondary education looming over his head, he enters into a relationship with many vices, including women, alcohol, and drugs. Unwilling to address his future and what is to come of it, he'd rather look to what is in front of him. As he descends into degenerate activity, so does his ambition to look past tomorrow.

Autorenporträt

Mitchell was born and raised in the Niagara Region of Ontario, right in the heart of Canadian wine country. Having worked in the wine business for eight years through serving, bartending, and being a tour guide, this story is loosely based on his real-life experience. He later graduated university with an undergraduate degree in Business and a post-graduate certifcate in Law, and he currently makes a living as a software sales representative.When Mitchell's close friend from his days of working at the winery passed, he was inspired to pay tribute and honour him through writing, which turned into this fictional story of friendship, romance, and coming-of-age.
