Sacha Christianson est née à Paris, en France, et est titulaire d'une maîtrise en affaires internationales de l'Université américaine de Paris. Elle a également vécu aux États-Unis où elle a travaillé pour une organisation communautaire soutenant les demandeurs d'asile et les nouveaux immigrants à New York. Elle s'est spécialisée dans le secteur du développement. Elle est actuellement basée à Niamey, au Niger.
