Michael Uenking's professional life is one in which he serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and policy practitioner with over 35 years of experience in leading the governance of multi-billion-dollar complex technical systems, including facilitating regulatory policy to national defense critical technologies, technical data, and services. He has authored and/or co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed technical journal articles, white papers, and other administrative documents and/or procedures. His current personal volunteer activities include serving as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for Resurrection Lutheran Church in Newport News, VA, a Songs of Praise Worship Team Member, the Small Group Facilitator, and as a former Church Elder. He currently lives with his wife Rebecca in Newport News, VA.
