THE WALK is a story about Dr. Appolo Tiam, who was born in a village called Ndienbou in Cameroon. He grew up in poverty with many siblings, a loving and caring mother, and a strict father. Despite the challenges he faced, Dr. Tiam persevered and became a doctor, helping to fight against the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The Walk is a journey through his life, revealing how his experiences and struggles shaped him into the person he is today. Dr. Tiam is the epitome of overcoming obstacles and growing from a boy into a successful man who helps others regardless of their social background, race, religious beliefs, and economic status. The Walk is about how Dr. Tiam created his own lane, overcame the odds, broke barriers, and embarked on a journey to achieve his dreams and aspirations.
