Autor

Syed Haider Ali is a Pakistani-Canadian poet that hails from Ottawa, Canada and studies English literature at McGill University. Drawn to poetry initially by the lyricism of the classic Urdu ghazals, as well as the giants of English poetry, Haider has sought to negotiate a Pakistani background with an anglophone context. At the same time, he makes an effort to respect and reimagine traditional poetic structures from both English and Urdu.
