Sam Augsburger is a biomechanical engineer with avocations in physics and theology. He delights in asking forbidden questions and pondering unusual solutions. His own quest led him through strange, dimensional, and fractal encounters. The Wanderer is an outcome of this journey, and is part of an overarching work titled Slices of God: Strange, Dimensional, and Fractal Perspectives on God and the Cosmos.
