Autorenporträt
Jackie Marenda was born and raised in Park Slope, Brooklyn. She loved to read and to listen to the stories told by people who were eyewitnesses to history. At age nine, her plays were staged by her Girl Scout troop. At sixteen, she composed song lyrics for local bands. After high school graduation, she chose to remain in New York City, where she became a frequent contributor to numerous magazines, newspapers, and anthologies. Jackie recently moved to the Jersey Shore where she is currently at work on the second book for her series, The Four Whistle Society.
