This book examines what influence television media portrayals of African American males and females have on their inter- personal relationships. The evidence shows that viewing television programs and videos may have an effect on how African Americans perceive and relate to each other. These perceptions are examined to explore how these portrayals on television affect African American relationships. This book draws conclusion about the general repercussions of these portrayals.
