An MBA graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, DeAnna Whalen, has spent the majority of her career as a successful marketing executive. Never expecting to become an author, DeAnna, turned to write as a mental outlet when she was first diagnosed with breast cancer. Since starting a blog, she has become a mentor to many other women who have been given a scary cancer diagnosis. DeAnna currently resides in FL with her husband Larry and sons, Conor and Pearse.
