Autorenporträt
Mary Waring is an independent financial adviser and the founder of Wealth For Women, specialising in financial advice to women going through divorce. She is both a Chartered Financial Planner and a Chartered Accountant, being one of only a handful of advisers in the whole for the UK with this high level of qualification. Mary is passionate about changing the way women think about finance. Too many women stick their head in the sand and ignore it. Or...rely on a man to sort it for them. Mary's catchphrase is "A Man is not a Financial Plan". At a very early age Mary was aware that her mother was stuck in a very unhappy marriage since she was not financially savvy and had no income or assets in her own right. Her mother impressed upon her the need to not be dependent on a man for money. She has taken that message to heart and has now written a book to allow other women to gain the knowledge she has obtained over her 25 years of study and work in the finance industry. Oh and by the way...Mary is not a man hating harridan! She has been married to Tony for 20 years. For more information about Mary and her services please visit www.wealth-for-women.co.uk
