Autorenporträt
I currently live in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, a town just south of Raleigh. I grew up on Long Island, New York. Shortly after graduating from Oceanside High School, I enlisted in the US Air Force. I spent the next 26 years traveling the world, and retired in September 1993. Throughout those many years, I attended college and university classes whenever and wherever I could. This all culminated in December 2012, with a degree from the University of Maryland, University College. My degree is a Bachelor of Science with a Paralegal Certificate. After my retirement, I worked a few different jobs. Then, while working for a real estate attorney in Florida, I purchased a lien search company. I have owned and worked this company since January 2004. While living in Florida a number of years ago, I attended a Renaissance Festival. While there, I thought it would be fun to get a tarot card reading. Didn't think anything of it, other than it would be entertaining. Well, during the reading, I was told I would write a book. I kind of laughed it off, since I never considered myself a writer, nor did I have any intentions of writing a book. Well, one Monday morning in June 2012, I spent time mediating, as I normally did. When I finished meditating, I went out to our screened in patio with a pen and note pad. Three hours later I had completed writing my first children's book which I titled Flying Together, "It's OK, Really". I honestly cannot tell you where the words or story line came from. Over the past few years I have learned that I am getting these stories are from my higher self. Since that day, I have written 3 more children's books that are in the process of being illustrated and edited. I also have ideas for about 15 more in the series. Each of these books are about issues that are affecting our children, and parents, in today's world and how they can overcome them.
