Bjørn Årstad Seyffarth grew up in Oslo, Norway but left 19 years old to be with his guru in the Himalayas. Parallel to his stays at the ashram in India Bjørn studied philosophy, comparative religion, linguistics and pedagogy at the University of Oslo where he majored with the thesis "Realizing the Self - a hermeneutical analysis" (1998). In 2005, he completed his training as a philosophical counsellor (www.nsfp.no). This led to work in cognitive therapy, positive psychology, BRIEF therapy (solution focused approach) and ART (aggression replacement training). Bjørn is also a trained school teacher (PPU 2005) and has worked in both Waldorf - and Montessori schools. Since 2014, Bjørn has been instrumental in building up Leadership by Heart Coaching (lbhcoach.no), a life-coaching school out of Norway. He has written the book "The Art of Coaching" used in the curriculum of Leadership by Heart Coaching and Living From Vision Coaching (livingfromvision.com). Currently his is founding "Finding Self-Love" as a concept for retreats and self-exploration. Most of the year Bjørn is based in Bali, Indonesia where he works as a musician. findingselflove.org
