Abrar Mian is a fourth-year medical student and is currently serving as the inaugural Grainger Research Fellow in Urology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He has published over a dozen academic research manuscripts but has always had a love for creative writing, which he looks forward to expressing in his debut novel. With scarcely any Muslims in this space, he hopes to break barriers and inspire others that pursuing different dreams alongside a rigorous education is indeed possible. When he is not running around the hospital or writing, Abrar dedicates his time to mentoring Muslim youth, serving his community, and enjoying time with family and friends. An avid sports fan and competitor, he particularly enjoys playing tennis and basketball.
