M. G. Barlone has always been a storyteller from a very young age, fond of creating worlds of fantasy and magical creatures for all who would listen, mainly friends and her younger brother. Thereafter, she would read and create stories with illustrations for her own children. Writing has always been her passion and sometimes her escapism. She is also a practicing fine artist and retired Art Lecturer. Born in Birmingham, she has lived on the coast and within the countryside, both in the UK and abroad. She now lives in the West Midlands.
